A Peek Inside the Life of a Strategy Intern
Each day will offer you the opportunity to take on something different and provide understanding that did not previously exist. Expect to work on multiple projects doing things like:
• Planning and participating in Strategy workshops
• Attending and participating in internal reviews and ideation sessions
• Designing and executing research objectives/goals
• Presenting research and insights related to project objectives
• Building presentations

Primary Responsibilities:
• Work closely with supervisors to create and deploy domestic and international sales system training manuals.
• Assist in documenting internal and external operational processes by developing processes flow maps and summary reports in a ''presentation-ready'' format.
• Create and manage the data in TVD's internal abstract documents and tracking sheet for sales and management.
• Assist in various reporting activities such as: the Weekly Sales Report, Avails and Rights Tracking Reports, Sales History Report, and Ad Hoc reports for TVD management.
• Liaise with 3rd party vendor for AR related activities which includes the following: dispute resolution, reconciliation of accounts, contractual and fee related inquiries, and AP (payments, billing, and payment application/allocation).
• Participate in various project management meetings and create meeting minutes/summaries for TVD Strategic Operations management.
• Drive the collection of new data and the refinement of existing data sources.
• Research industry related trends and create high-level detailed summaries in PPT for TVD Strategic Ops department.
• Assist in optimizing current reports process by evaluating existing templates and making sound recommendations on current v. possible future approach.
• Develop, create, and maintain MSOffice Excel macros for various reports.
• Assist VP on various Ad hoc projects.
Qualifications:
• MBA student
• Passion for film or familiarity with the film business / media / entertainment
• Previous professional work experience in a corporate work environment
• Possesses strong business acumen
• Must have impeccable writing skills for management summary reports and presentations
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing analytically rigorous initiative
• High quantitative reasoning skills
• Prior studio internship or work experience preferred but not required
• Detailed oriented and able to efficiently manage multiple tasks
• Ability to take direction while adhering to established business protocol
• Strong team player
• High proficiency with the Microsoft suite (Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook / Word, etc.)
• Experience with database / reporting environments (Micro strategy, Power BI) a plus, but not required

• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
