Full Time Unpaid Internship

Description of your department
At Fox Family Hybrid, our mandate is to identify and develop content that will appeal to all audiences with a live action and CGI/animated component. What does that mean? Think along the lines of the NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM, ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS, and PERCY JACKSON and you'll have a better sense of the worlds and stories we're looking to put on screen. You'll be assisting our creative team in the script development process to create material that both parents and children alike will delight in going to watch together in the theater.
Intern job duties
• Assist in updating and adding to division databases
• Provide office support where necessary including covering phones, maintaining office supplies, filing, providing notes, etc.
• Research and identify potential content that will fit the division mandate
• Handle special projects as needed
Learning objectives
• Gain a better understanding of the ever-growing and changing landscape of the film industry
• Introduction to film development with an eye towards all audience content
Qualifications:
• To qualify, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
• Previous experience in film development preferred
• Must be able to handle highly confidential material with the utmost discretion
• Must possess an upbeat positive attitude with a strong attention to detail
• Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to learn new applications
To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
