This position is a unique opportunity for a talented and motivated candidate to work in the newly formed department of Franchise Management.
This position will support the EVP of Franchise Management in packaging and documenting brand strategy, marketing activities, and branding and partnership
opportunities for our film franchises.
The position will involve close interaction with different functional areas within
20th Century Fox Film, as well as other business units within the Fox Entertainment Group.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in development, preparation and ongoing management of brand plans
• Track marketing activities for our franchises across all divisions (film, home entertainment, int'l distribution, digital distribution, consumer products)
• Coordinate with 3rd-party partners and vendors to assist with marketing efforts
• Prepare presentations to internal management and potential 3rd-party partners
• Create and proofread letters, memos, spreadsheets and expense reports
• General administrative duties: handle phones, maintain calendars for daily schedule, coordinate meetings, create expense reports update rolodex, faxing, photocopying & filing
• Keeping an eye on competitors, watching other studios and paying attention to their new media, streaming, promotions and placements
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years
of experience assisting an executive in the entertainment business (film industry preferred).
• The position requires an individual who is a strategic thinker, motivated, tactful and able to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships on a worldwide basis.
• Time management is extremely important, as this individual will work on multiple departmental documents daily. It is key that this person is able to adeptly shift between projects while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. All candidates must possess the following skills:
• Top notch organizational skills.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and work at an extremely fast pace.
• Multi-tasking and adapting to changes in priority and/or direction are a must as well as the ability to think ''outside of the box.''
• Very strong written and verbal communications are a must.
• Highly detail oriented. Makes minimal errors in day to day work environment.
• Strong relationship building, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision, take direction and identify new opportunities.
• Ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment with grace under pressure whether it's independently, or in a room with top level executives and filmmakers.
• Excellent attitude. Highly positive and personable. Completely trustworthy.
• Advanced MS Office skills - Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook.
