Fox Sports is looking for a Director, Video, this position will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:
• Management: Experienced manager with the primiary responsibility of managing a team a team of content creators working on FS1 original digital video brands and optimizing content for FS1 digital
• Strategy: Manage strategy for creation of original digital video (VOD and Live Streaming) for FS1 original digital video brands with talent specific to that content; build repeatable models that can be implemented at scale
• Sales: Work closely with sales team on ideation of content for campaigns, and work with content teams to execute campaigns
• Production: Proficient in social and digital original and live video platforms and content creation, management of employees with video editing skills for quick turnaround, and experience shooting/directing original video and streaming content
• Data: Ability to use data to help drive strategy and tell stories across platforms, and working with data tools (i.e., spreadfast, sharablee, platform analytics tools) to create content strategy, develop audiences and judge performance
• Talent: Oversee and manage process of the cross platform production with talent
• Platforms: Deep knowledge of what works on all digital platforms and experience working with digital platforms, including owned and operated platforms and 3rd party platforms
• Cross-functional relationships: Build and maintain relationships across a variety of groups including senior executives, sales, marketing, programming, digital, linear, studio and other sport teams
Qualifications:
• Should have at least 7 years of Cable/TV production and/or Digital editorial experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with talent, athletes, team managers, event staff, outside producers and all other persons involved with productions. Should have a command of production terminology and procedures.
• Must be knowledgeable on Mac.
• Adobe Production Suite (Photoshop, Premiere), After Effects. Must have a basic understanding and experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Explorer. Should also be able to operate production related equipment.
