Fox Sports is looking for a Director, Studio and Original Programming. This person would be responsible for:
Responsibilities
• Management: Experienced manager who's primary responsibility would be managing a team of content creators across studio show social who oversee / own the digital presence of the studio shows from end to end.
• Strategy: Manage strategy for creation of original digital video, images, and audio in and around daily studio shows, and with talent specific to that show; build repeatable models that can be implemented at scale across all studio shows.
• Sales: Work closely with sales team on ideation of content for campaigns, and work with teams to execute campaigns.
• Production: Proficient in social, and digital video, and audio content production, including the ability to execute flawless spelling and grammar with quick turnaround, track record of high quality Photoshop-style design skills. with quick turnaround, proven Premiere/Final Cut-style video editing skills with quick turnaround, and experience shooting/directing original video and streaming content.
• Data: Ability to use data to help drive strategy and tell stories across platforms, and working with data tools (i.e., spread fast, sharable, platform analytics tools) to create content strategy, develop audiences and judge performance.
• Talent: Oversee the cross platform production associated with new studio talentFoc.
• Platforms: Deep knowledge of what works on all digital platforms and experience working with digital platforms, including owned and operated platforms and 3rd party platforms.
• Cross-functional relationships: Build and maintain relationships across a variety of groups including senior executives, sales, marketing, programming, digital, linear, studio and other sport teams.
Qualifications:
• Should have at least 7 years of Cable/TV production and/or Digital editorial experience; comprehensive knowledge of action as well as a substantial understanding of the tricks and respective terminology.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with talent, athletes, team managers, event staff, outside producers and all other persons involved with productions. Should have a command of production terminology and procedures.
• Must be knowledgeable on Mac.
• Adobe Production Suite (Photoshop, Premiere), After Effects. Must have a basic understanding and experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Explorer. Should also be able to operate production related equipment.
