DCG (Digital Consumer Group) Design is the internal creative agency setting design and brand direction for FOX Networks' digital products. We are responsible for the user experience and visual branding of a wide range of digital platforms (iOS, Android, web, tvOS, Amazon TV, Xbox, Windows ) for the FOXNOW and FOX Sports GO apps in North America. We work closely with a brilliant team of product owners, engineers and business owners to apply strategic insight to delight customers. The DCG Design team needs a Traffic Coordinator to own the ticketing workflow. As a critical team member, you will be responsible for the management and administration of incoming design requests that span across multiple projects and teams. The Traffic Coordinator facilitates the productivity of the design and production teams, validates and clarifies the request, and coordinates with Product and Engineering managers to set priorities. They can quickly assess the bandwidth of the design team that sit in multiple locations, and provide oversight into the production workflow process. They will partner with Project Managers to provide insightful guidance in improving the groups workflow.
As the ideal candidate, you can balance the urgent needs from the Product team and the existing resource of the design team. You aren't afraid to prioritize, make decisions and communicate clearly. As a key member of DCG Design, you'll be looked up to for your ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects.
Responsibilities:
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Must be able to prioritize, be a self-starter, take on required responsibility and be detail oriented
• Ability to balance the workload of a large team of designers, located in multiple locations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and resource management for capacity planning.
• Continually monitor graphic requests to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
• Ensure task timelines are maintained and graphic production plans stay within the assigned forecasts.
• Engage with product owners to ensure crisp communication between requests and designers.
• Provide end of week report on design work completed and the upcoming priorities.
• Actively manage and display ongoing project progress, ensuring transparency and department-wide understanding of workflow.
• Develop, drive and improve design production workflow while establishing best practices to drive speed while improving the quality of the creative output.
Qualifications:
• 3 years work experience in multi-team environments, preferably in design or related fields
• Experience with the digital design process, design execution and roles on a digital design production team
• Knowledge of traffic workflow systems and previous experience ''starting up'' this capability in an agency/in-house design group environment
• Understanding of project management fundamentals, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk and allocate resources
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with workflow tools such as JIRA
• Experience working in a app design environment
• Ability to maintain positive and productive relationships with all team members, peers, managers, etc.
• Ability to organize information, prioritize and maintain attention to detail, and accurately follow procedures.
