Coordinator (Fox Digitial Entertainment)
Fox Digital Entertainment is seeking a Coordinator. Fox Digital Entertainment is the digital arm of 20th Century Fox Film (TCFF) and serves as a licensor of the studio's entire catalogue of film and television content for the digital space, with a particular emphasis on mobile platforms and devices. As part of its activities, TCFF partners with leading application and game developers to create industry leading apps such as The Simpsons Tapped Out, Ice Age Village, Angry Birds Rio, Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, Glee Karaoke, and more. Through its Fox Digital Studio division, Fox Digital Entertainment also produces lower-budget feature films directly for digital distribution services such as Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Crackle and others.
Fox Digital Entertainment is recruiting a Coordinator with 1-2 years support experience and interest and knowledge in the gaming/app and/or digital video sectors. This position is a unique opportunity for a talented and motivated candidate to will support the SVP of Fox Digital Entertainment in building/managing the games and studio businesses and will work closely execs at Fox Mobile Entertainment and Fox Digital Studio. The role will involve close interaction with different functional areas within and across Fox Filmed Entertainment, 20th Century Fox Television, as well as other business units across 21st Century Fox. The position is located in Los Angeles.
The ideal candidate should be professional and a self-starter, able to work independently on reports and projects assigned. The candidate should be well organized and able to multi-task and to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced workplace. The Coordinator must thrive in a collaborative environment, possess the skills to foster strong internal and external business relationships, and have the ability to communicate effectively with senior management. The Coordinator needs to pay attention to detail and have good follow-up skills, and must be able to maintain confidentiality with information and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
-General admin duties: handle phones, maintain calendars for daily schedule, coordinate meetings, create expense reports, photocopying & filing.
-Create and proofread letters, memos, spreadsheets and expense reports.
-Track and analyze performance of our games and shows.
-Perform other duties and undertake special projects assigned.
-Assist in development, preparation and ongoing management of sales pipelines.
-Prepare presentations to internal management and potential 3rd party partners.
-Perform research including competitive market analyses; monitor changes in games and digital distribution businesses.
Qualifications:
-Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, gaming or related field preferred.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ideal candidate should be passionate and knowledgeable in mobile games and apps sector and also have understanding of digital video business including Youtube and multi-channel network (MCN) business.
-2-3 years experience in a relevant field.
-Must be a proactive self-starter capable of self-management.
-Comfortable managing multiple projects.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
-Comfortable working across multiple divisions within a company.
-Must be organized, detail oriented and scrappy.
-Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
