The Fox Network Center in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Commercial Operations Administrator. This position is responsible for interfacing with advertising agencies and sales departments to ensure proper commercial material has been received and scheduled via client specifications.
The Fox Network Center - Woodlands belongs to the Networks Engineering & Operations arm and is a mission critical, 24/7 facility that has been in operation since 1983. We are currently in a 200,000 sq. ft., state of the art facility in The Woodlands, Texas. We support more than 20 different Regional Fox Sports Networks around the country with approximately 300 employees at our facility.
Responsibilities:
• Assign house numbers for spot identification in traffic system
• Verify instruction confirmations for accuracy
• Coordinate artwork and audio copy
• Maintain day-of-air event grid
• Complete necessary log changes to accommodate last minute traffic revisions, as well as, inputting all promotional materials into the database to obtain house numbers and add filler information
• Resolve issues arising from missing materials or commercial copy issues in Master Control
Qualifications:
• Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner, both written and verbally, between internal departments and external clients
• Ability to demonstrate extraordinary customer service skills by anticipating client's needs and following through to completion with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to work within a team atmosphere by operating in a close knit environment with shared duties among co-workers and a proven ability to multitask and perform well under strict deadlines are musts
• A.A. degree or 60 hours of college credits toward a BA/BS degree in Communications, Radio/TV or related field
• Experience in broadcast television traffic and knowledge of sports venues are a plus
