Under regular supervision, this position is responsible for assisting the SVP and VP Comedy Programming & Development with administrative functions. Duties include, answering phones; filing and photocopying; typing correspondence; processing expense reports; scheduling all appointments and meetings; reading and logging all submissions; providing coverage on development material; supervising scheduling, production and post distribution for assigned current shows and pilots, and assisting with the creation of notes documents and scene breakdowns. In addition, the position is responsible for maintaining all development grids and documents, as well as interfacing with counterparts at other studios, networks and agencies to compile competitive tracking information.
Responsibilities:
• Answers phones, directs calls, takes message and maintains phone logs. Schedules and coordinates meetings and appointments. Types and distributes correspondence. Files and retrieves department memos, reports and correspondence. Performs faxing and photocopying. Prepares and processes expense reports.
• Maintains accurate department records and assists organization of Executive Vice President
• Create, maintain, and update reports pertinent to comedy and animation development.
• Keep information flow current and efficient within the department and for Executive Vice President.
• Supervise scheduling, production and post distribution for assigned current series and pilots
• Interface with counterparts at other studios, networks and agencies to compile competitive tracking information
• Tracks script submissions.

Qualifications:
• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalency. A Bachelor's degree or some college coursework is preferred. A minimum of 1-2 years administrative experience is necessary. Previous television development or agency experience is a plus.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills and strong reasoning skills.
• Knowledge of Word, Outlook, and Explorer is necessary. Experience with Excel and FileMaker Pro is preferred.
• Good organizational and project coordination skills are required. Good attention to detail and follow-through skills are needed. A proven ability to set priorities, multitask and perform well under strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment is required.
