Fox Sports (FS1) is looking for a Production Coordinator.
Responsibilities
• This position will support FS1 studio show on tasks ranging from scheduling, organization of production crews, ordering supplies, processing invoices and expenses, executing Production short form contracts and hires, and basic budget management. This position will have an active role in coordination of the daily show and special projects with a focus on logistic and strategic planning for the studio production group.
• Working in tandem with Production Manager, Studio to organizing and managing content grids, overseeing budgets, assisting with research, and creating internal presentations.
• Manage daily show needs to support production, booking on-air guest travel and day of support, coordinating live shot requests, catering, and scheduling.
• Working with Director of Production and Coordinating Producers of each show unit to organize logistical and strategic planning outside of the day to day show operations, tailoring and communicating between the studio teams and support groups that they collaborate with. Generally responsible for keeping projects on track and providing status updates.
• Support of Content Senior Staff with administrative duties.
Qualifications:
• College degree preferred. Previous experience in administrative and / or sports position is strongly preferred. Background in television production required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
• Superior organization skills and attention to detail are required at a minimum.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is required.
• Resourceful and quick-thinking research skills are a must.
• The ability to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities and daily time constraints is required.
