Fox Sports is looking for a dynamic individual to be the 2nd Executive Assistant to the President & COO, and the EVP of Fox Sports Media Group. The ideal candidate must be accustomed to supporting high-level executives, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. This position will work directly with the Supervisor/Office Manager of the Executive Suite.
This opportunity should be viewed as providing invaluable experience in order to better prepare a future sports or entertainment business executive. The successful candidate will effectively balance changing demands, a dynamic schedule and will function well under pressure. Additionally, the Executive Assistant will have the opportunity to build collaborative relationships with other executives and assistants throughout the company. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required.
Responsibilities
• Works and collaborates with the Supervisor/Office Manager of the Executive Suite
• Provides administrative support to the President & COO and EVP - including calendar management/scheduling, meeting planning, and general office duties
• Answers all incoming calls and ensures messages are accurate and delivered in a timely fashion
• Maintains appointment schedule and arranges travel for Executives
• Prepares expense reports
• Works on special projects as needed
Qualifications:
• An undergraduate degree is required; MBA is a plus
• Minimum of one year administrative assistant experience in sports or entertainment
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritize and establish administrative procedures
• Adaptability and ability work under pressure is necessary
• Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives
• Professional presence, good judgment and the ability to anticipate needs
• Highly organized, detail oriented and a problem solver
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed
