Freelance Job
New York based non profit organization looking for aftereffects artist/motion graphics artist to animate text and photos for IAC video wall.
Very tight deadline - rough to be submitted Sunday 10/16 by 9am and final approved by 9am Monday 10/17.
Graphic animations are fairly simple but must be extremely well versed in after effects and understand the specs below and AE templates that will be sent upon application.
-All Content
All content for the Video Walls at IAC needs to be designed in Pixels not DPI. All content needs to be delivered at least threeFULL business days before the event. We cannot be responsible for any content that is given to us after that.
- East Wall
The background image/wallpaper for the East Wall should be 2400x1200. The aspect ratio is 2:1. Keep in mind there is a security desk in front of the wall. So you might want to place any pertinent content about 10%-20% from the bottom of the screen. If that's not possible given the composition of the content, it will still look fine.
The following are instructions for full screen ANIMATED East Wall content/backgrounds.
The full resolution of the East Wall is 2400x1200. It takes 2Watchout PCs to achieve this. Each Watchout PCs output resolution is 1600x1200. You will have to design the content at 2400x1200 to start. Then render it out as two separate files that are 1600x1200 with an overlap of 800 Pixels in the center.
- West Wall
The background image/wallpaper for the West Wall should be 14200x1200. The aspect ratio is 12:1 . If it's going to be a tiled/repeating image, try to make the resolution divisible by 14200 for best image quality.
The content/graphics for the picture in picture ''PiP'' ideally should be 1920x1080 (16:9 aspect ratio). But it's ok if that's not the resolution. Just something that's the best quality you can give us.

The full resolution of the West Wall is 14200x1200. It takes 10Watchout PCs to achieve this. Each Watchout PCs output resolution is 1600x1200. You will have to design the content at 14200x1200 to start. Then render it out as 10 separate files that are 1600x1200. Files #2-9 will have an overlap of 100 Pixels on each side (Right and Left). But files 1 and 10 are different. The first file #1 will have an overlap of 100 Pixels only on the right side. And the last file #10 will have an overlap of 100 Pixels only on the left side.
- Video Files
Deliver ALL videos/animations as QuickTime .MOV files, with h264 compression. Please deliver video at a bitrate not to exceed 24Megabits/sec (24,576 Kilobits/sec). The audio within the video should be delivered as a mono mix.
Video content should be at least 1280x720. This is because some standard definition ''SD'' content can look a little grainy at times. Especially when it's scaled up on our large video walls. If it's not we can still work with it.
