For nearly 40 years, the Foreign Policy Association has produced the eight-part Great Decisions television series on PBS out of its NYC offices. We are currently looking for a summer production intern for our upcoming season.
The Foreign Policy Association Internship Program is a unique opportunity to gain solid, hands-on, professional experience in a busy and successful production division. We're on the lookout for talented individuals to participate in production, media management, and light editing tasks. Our interns are given the opportunity to work independently and think creatively. Generally, interns commit to no less than 5 full days per week, from mid-May to the end of August. College credit is available, but not required.
We are seeking individuals with a good working knowledge of Canon DSLRs and the Adobe Creative Suite who are looking to build their experience. Please note if you are familiar with other aspects of production or post-production.
Interns will work closely with the research team, editors, the Producer and Executive Producer on many aspects of the production. Knowledge of and an interest in world affairs and government is a plus, but not required.
