Flynt Management Group, LLC is looking for a Senior Director of Marketing to join the team! The Senior Director of Marketing will be responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the Organization's marketing and communication strategies, creative process and production/execution for all marketing materials for all entities. This position will partner with leadership to ensure strategies and company objectives are met. In addition, this position will direct the efforts of marketing teams and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the various entities of the Organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for development and implementation of short and long term strategic marketing plans involving events, promotions, branding and advertising. The plans will set out objectives for each strategic area of the department and outlines plans for achieving those objectives
Responsible for engaging as appropriate internal and external parties in the development and execution of strategies including branding, commercialization, pricing, market development, and innovation.
Supervise marketing personnel in each business line, including retail stores, casinos and broadcasting; develop marketing plans and strategies to grow revenue for their respective areas.
Organize and direct marketing and strategy meetings on a regular basis.
Prepare the annual marketing plan and budget that will help maintain and grow a strong base of customers along with cultivating new business growth that is aligned with Company objectives.
Coordinate and implement strategic alliances with reputable business partners creating greater brand awareness and financial benefits to the Company.
Incorporate social media initiatives where they are value added. Build bases of quality followers and users.
Oversee marketing contracts with various vendors including advertisers, entertainers, and promotional agencies and suppliers.
Identify emerging trends and issues, and prioritizes them as they relate to marketing activities.
Maximize effectiveness of all marketing activities, in close association with Senior Management.
Create new special events & promotions while improving on existing activities.
Provide input and oversight on creative design elements and content that will be effectively used in marketing initiatives.
Direct the execution of strategies and programs to achieve revenue, acquisition, retention and profitability goals. Incorporate ROI metrics and ensure marketing expenditures are value added.
Make presentations to upper management on Marketing and Communications strategies and activities.
Direct market research activities in order to keep abreast of changing demographics and other relevant issues in order to evaluate marketing and communication activities and to monitor emerging issues.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Advertising or related field, MBA a plus
A minimum of Fifteen (15) years overall business experience with at least eight (8) years marketing experience
Proven experience leading a team through the development and execution of multiple, simultaneous projects and complex integrated campaigns, with multiple vendors, business partners and significant budgets.
Ability to analyze competitive information and internal financial information, and develop plans with measurable results.
Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of an organization, including senior management.
Excellent attention to detail, ability to prioritize and outstanding organization skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and take direction well.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, influence and persuade others.
Proficient with computers.
Creative and innovative problem solving skills.
