Flying Television - Talent Booking & Brokering is currently looking for a Talent Executive to join their ever-growing team! Company clientele includes: luxury, fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment.
Position requires person to be highly organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, communicate effectively, and able to problem solve quickly. Candidate must be as comfortable running a red carpet as they are drafting a press release. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively, and must possess at least 3-4 years industry experience. Strong, pre-existing contacts are required.
Job Description below - Offices are located in the historic Flatiron area of New York City.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
· Talent Booking
· Talent Brokering
· Brainstorming/List generation - Ability to create researched lists of viable talent for ongoing projects
· Monitor media coverage and create press re-cap reports
· Manage celebrity activation at live events and media projects
· On-site at events duties include: Red Carpet/Step & Repeat/Photo Opp Coordination, Talent Management (Check-in, Talent Escort, Destination Management, etc)
· New Business Outreach
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 - 4 years Talent/PR/Marketing Experience
· Strong knowledge of Celebrity and Pop Culture, including Social Media
· Strong Celebrity and Talent Relations Contacts (Entertainment Media contacts a plus)
· Strong writing skills
· History of pitching clients and creating written materials
· Ability to work well with others and interact with high level corporate executives
· Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and think outside of the box
· Self Starter
· Thrive in a small, intimate work environment
· Working knowledge of major media databases such as Cision
· Bachelors Degree
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, (Photoshop a plus)
Salary (plus commissions): Commensurate with Experience
