Job Description: Flying Television, a celebrity booking and brokering firm, is seeking an experienced Talent Coordinator/Manager of Talent Relations.
Responsibilities include: developing and implementing public relations strategies for company clientele in the worlds of fashion, lifestyle, and entertainment.
Candidate must be comfortable running a red carpet, drafting press releases, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work independently as well as collaboratively, and must possess at least 2-3 years industry experience. Strong, pre-existing contacts in the media are required.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Brainstorming/List generation - Ability to create researched lists of viable talent for ongoing projects
- Monitor media coverage and create press re-cap reports
- Manage and assist in client events
On-site at Events - duties may include:
- Check-in
- Talent Escort
Requirements:
- 2 - 3 years minimum experience
- Strong Media contacts in both entertainment and fashion
- History of pitching clients and creating written press materials
- Ability to work well with others and interact with high level executives
- Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and think outside of the box
- Self Starter
- Thrive in a small, intimate work environment
- Working knowledge of major media databases such as Cision
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, (Photoshop a plus!)
- Bachelors Degree
Salary (plus commissions): Commensurate with Experience
