Why Should I Apply?

The Gritty Details:
This position is full-time at our office located in Burbank, CA. Our work weeks are Sunday through Thursday and start at 9am. Yes, that's a bit of a weird work week, we're sorry. You make roughly $2,000/month before taxes and get an hour lunch. Other than that, the benefits are slim. We have a filtered water cooler. That's pretty neat. We have a Simpsons Arcade Machine... remember those? But we don't play with it during business hours so it just kinda sits there in the lobby mocking you. This job occasionally requires LONG hours and can be very stressful for those not used to juggling a lot of responsibilities simultaneously while never dropping the ball. Ideal for someone with some decent production experience and a passion for New Media, but not a lot of bills hanging over their head.
Responsibilities:
· Provide overall assistance to Producers, Directors and Production Coordinator
· Contribute ideas for show elements
· Assisting in Production (Set-Up & Shoot)
· General Researching & Office Runs
· Social Media Monitoring
· Scheduling and coordinating production crews & talent
Qualifications:
· YouTube product knowledge (bonus for TheFineBros series catalogue)
· Expert-level knowledge in Social Media (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Tumblr, Instagram, Vine, Reddit, Hootsuite)
· On-Set Production Experience Required, especially with audio recording & filming with DSLR cameras
· Software Knowledge: Photoshop, Word, Excel, GoogleDocs, Gmail
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Ability to conceptualize ideas in a creative, non-traditional way
· Capable of handling various responsibilities and multiple projects simultaneously
· Bachelor's Degree (TV/Film Production, or related field of study preferred)
· Must have car
· Fluent in Mac, PC, basic Mac software & the English language
The Compensation:
As stated above, this is a roughly $2,000/month paid full-time position before taxes, although you will have an hourly rate and be paid for any overtime you are asked to work in a given day. Any runs made throughout the day will be reimbursed at the IRS rate of 56/c per mile driven. There are no health, vacation or sick pay benefits your first year with the company. On Thursdays, we provide bagels. That's not bad.
So What Are You Waiting For?
If this still sounds like the kinda gig you're interested in, click reply and submit your resume. Candidates hoping to be seriously considered must include their Top 3 favorite YouTube Channels and a resume in their email response. Also, you must include the answer to this Trivia Question at the top of your email: Who is the #1 Most Subscribed YouTuber? Hint: He's a Gamer. This is some additional text down here that buries that last call to action that only 10% of you will actually read surprisingly. If you're gotten this far, you've got a decent shot.
Thanks for your interest! Sincerely, another one of your friendly neighborhood YouTube channels.
