Full Time Job
Are you an amazing Project Manager that loves working with ALL aspects of production? Would you love to fill your days surrounded by super talented people trying to change the very landscape of entertainment… and succeeding at it? Want to be working on shows that are viewed more than 150 million times a month around the world? Fine Brothers Entertainment (FBE) is looking for a crazy talented, passionate, ambitious, logistical wizard to come on board as Head of Digital Production.
You will be the main person in charge of all the scripted and unscripted content that rolls out across our online channels, overseeing 4-6 producers at a time to start, and at least 10-15 videos a week, from development through release.
Additionally, you should be a master at the following:
- Writing contracts
- Building budgets
- Coordinating schedules
- Respecting deadlines
- Working with clients and brand partners
- Leaping over constant logistical hurdles
- Finding crew or specialized contractors
- Working with 3rd party, off-site productions and vendors
- Keeping tabs on multiple teams on-site and off-site
- Identifying & troubleshooting pipeline issues
- Training & motivating team members
- Quality control
Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years experience in senior level producing capacities, preferably in the digital space, and loves the nuts and bolts of keeping a production on track from concept through delivery. Another quality we are looking for is someone with showrunning abilities that include having a creative eye towards knowing what makes a quality script, production, edit and final product, and be able to dive in to help our teams execute just that. The bottom line is you need to have a passion for the logistics of running several, simultaneous, mega-successful productions to succeed in this role.
Your job will be to work hand-in-hand with producers and department heads to setup and establish best practices and more efficient processes to maintain and ultimately expand our current production slate. You will work to make sure that all deadlines are met across all your teams, basking in the glory when everything goes smoothly, and proactively problem-solving when things go wrong.
Our work week is Sunday-Thursday, 9am to 6pm. We foster a culture that puts a lot of attention towards encouraging internal growth, creating an enjoyable work environment, and promoting from within when possible. We offer competitive rates, and employees are eligible for a basic benefits package after 2 months of employment. Also we have tons of video games and snacks in our break room, if that does anything for ya.
You must have an excitement for online video and the new media space to be happy working here with our incredible team. Our shows run 52 weeks a year (not that you wouldn't have time off, we just don't have traditional media seasons), so if you're not excited or interested in this ongoing weekly challenge, this probably isn't the right gig for you. We're looking for people that want to learn and grow with us.
Finally, if you want to stand out from the competition, make sure your email subject line includes the job code FBE-HP15, and include your salary requirements and Top 3 favorite YouTube channels somewhere in your body text before you sign off. That's about it.
