Fine Brothers Entertainment (FBE) is looking for a highly motivated, self sufficient, Digital Production Manager to manage a team of Producers and Associate Producers reporting to FBE's Director of Production.
This role requires a candidate who prides themselves on attention to detail, task management, with a strong emphasis on scheduling of producers as well as documentation. The ideal candidate should thrive in a high-pressure, deadline driven, and fast-paced work environment.
JOB SUMMARY
The Digital Production Manager (DPM) reports to the Director of Production (DP) and oversees the day-to-day operations of project, people and process. Partnering with the Producers, Associate Producers, Production Coordinators and Post-Production teams, the DPM creates milestones and manages the scope in order to deliver shows on schedule and within budget.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and update Multiple Production Calendars on a week to week basis, know what every producer should be doing, when to do it, and provide support when they are falling behind. Establish a pipeline that tracks all projects to ensure timely completion.
Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand job requirements.
Manage and oversees the production team. You will have to know and understand the different roles within the department, as well as hold them to task on the timelines set forth to keep the trains on the tracks.
Works with producers to determine milestones, deliverables and scope of show/project and maximizes efficiencies in the creative tasks.
Partners with the Production and Post Production teams to create a detailed plan to break down tasks for the teams and ensure the schedule of work is on track.
Delivers ongoing clear goals and deadlines for sequences, and processes to the team and studio.
Establish and maintain training of the creative process for Producers and Associate Producers.
Assist with onboarding, scheduling and training of new team members.
As an added responsibility, as needed for a growing production team, be open to step in to help with physical production, casting and post-production in a pinch.
Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
3 + years experience in similar position; coordinating/scheduling productions, online a plus!
Knowledge of camera, audio, and lighting setups, as well as experience in on-set hands-on producing, also a plus!
Deep knowledge of production management
Outstanding communication ability
Strong Leadership Skills - Capable of motivating team members & performance management.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Clear in planning, tasks and deliverables with staff, and managers
Ability to self-balance and prioritize multiple projects with short deadlines
Proactive, independent, tenacious strong work ethic
Strong decision-making skills and possess a results-driven approach
Familiar with Google Applications (i.e. Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
Your job will be to work hand-in-hand with producers and other department heads to setup and establish best practices and more efficient processes to maintain and ultimately expand our current production slate. You will work to make sure that all deadlines are met across all your teams, ensuring everything goes smoothly, and proactively problem-solving when things go wrong. Must be team-oriented but able to demonstrate leadership skills, organized, accurate, articulate, responsible, flexible, resourceful, self-motivated, hands-on when needed, and able to delegate.
This is a salaried position that is on a rotating schedule, some weeks M-F, others, Sun-Thurs from 9am to 6pm.
