Associate Producer, FBE Main Channel (OG)
Position Description:
The Associate Producer, FBE Main Channel (OG) is a support role for the OG team in every aspect of producing content for FBE Main Channel.
Responsibilities include assisting in maintaining day-to-day production pipeline for the OG department, researching content, pitching topics, prepping for shoots, filming with reactors and staff, editing content, QCing final videos, improving current shows, series and formats, developing new formats, and active participation in live release of videos while engaging with the FBE audience on the FBE Main Channel, as well as across all FBE platforms when needed.
This is a full time role, reports to the Director of Production, and staggers between a Sunday through Thursday and Monday through Friday schedule in our offices currently located in Burbank.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the daily and weekly production cadence schedules (working closely with Production Management and Producer)
Coordinate studio assignments for APs and Jr AP for shoots (working closely with Production Management and Producer)
Propose casting of talent for shoots (working closely with Production Management and Producer)
Research and identify content and episode topics to pitch to Producer
Prepare for shoots, including writing scripts and noting watching sequences
Assist with the physical production of shoots, including interviewing talent
Sit-downs with editors
Review and approve various assets, including music, graphics and thumbnails
Fact research, copywriting and approval
Quality control of final exports
Producer goodbyes and other on-camera work as needed
Improving current shows, series and formats, as well as developing new formats (working closely with Production Management and Producer)
Active participation in live release of videos on FBE digital platforms
Requirements:
Familiarity range of cameras, lighting, and production equipment a plus
knowledge of social platforms (YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat etc.)
Awareness of YouTube culture, and internet culture, memes, vernacular, etc.
Ability to generate and maintain documentation and workflow for various projects.
