Established Media company located in Beverly Hills, CA, is looking for a Accounts Receivable /Accounting Assistant, to assist Financial Controller and Sales Team Dept.
Responsibilities
• Accounts receivable, dealing with sales team, invoicing and responsible for collection of any open client balances on monthly basis
• Corresponding with Sales team regarding client billing
• Post journal entries
• Assist financial controller in the day-to-day operations:
• Sort and distribute all incoming mail
• Maintain office files and ensure all client documents are scanned and saved on the server
• Insure office calendars are up to date with vendor information
• Filing, Organizing and doing special projects on need be basis
• Oversee office efficiency by being proactive and anticipating needs
Qualifications
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain discretion regarding personnel and industry-related matters
• Minimum two years of experience working as a bookkeeper or in accounting dept.
• Interest in the music/entertainment industry a plus
