International Film, Distribution and Production Company seeks driven intern. This is a great opportunity to get a head start in the entertainment industry. You will learn the business of financing and selling a film from the inside out: from acquiring the project, to presales to distributors and broadcasters worldwide; and preparing for international festivals and major film markets. You will have the opportunity to learn the ''language'' of the industry, which will put you far above the competition. We work with all areas of the entertainment business including Agents and Managers, Directors, Producers and International Distributors. The internship will give you the chance to network with others in the business that can be of assistance in helping you advance your career in Hollywood.
We currently have several films in various stages of production.
Ideal Candidate is extremely motivated to work and to learn. He/she must have good computer skills, strong written and verbal communication skills as well as possessing an outgoing personality. He/She needs to be available in office for estimated 20 hours per week. Duties: general office work (answering phones, faxing and computer work as needed) script coverage and international communications daily. Photoshop and Excel skills helpful.
