As Executive Assistant, you will report directly to the President and Executive Vice President of Film 45. In your position, you will be expected to provide heavy administrative assistance to President and Executive Vice President and also work closely with the Director of Development. Must commit to a one-year period, internal room for growth.
About Film 45:
Currently, Film 45 is producing the feature-length documentary documentary Rihanna (directed by Peter Berg), a 12-part Untitled Novak Djokovic series for Amazon Studios, Seasons 2 and 3 of QB1: Beyond the Lights for Verizon go90, the murder mystery series The Keepers for Netflix, among others.
Some of Film 45's most recent work include Showtime's American Jihad, Verizon go90's QB1: Beyond the Lights Season 1, EPIX's feature-length documentary Serena, National Geographic's Uncensored with Michael Ware, History Channel's The Selection & The Warfighters, and HBO's ON Freddie Roach & the Emmy-nominated series State of Play.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
• Effectively manage President and EVP calendars - scheduling, confirming meetings, pitches, conference calls.
• Manage phone system - incoming and outgoing calls, conferencing and rolling calls with President and EVP, assisting with Film 45's Avaya Phone System (setting up phone lines, switching ports and extensions)
• Create and manage tracking grids - creative development materials (decks, briefs, write-ups, teasers, research), incoming submissions (decks, video links, written documents), current Film 45 project creative materials (research, casting profiles, scripts, outlines)
• Manage filmmaker database - compile, organize and keep track of talent resumes and credits, offer suggestions for staffing on current projects
• Provide support to Director of Development - writing, reading, research, graphic design.
• Liaise internally and externally as necessary with all levels of personnel, clients and business associates with heavy emphasis on networks and agencies.
• Research for new projects and concepts as well as existing projects in pre-production.
Education and Work Experience:
• Agency experience strongly preferred
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• At least one year of entertainment industry experience required
