Fame House is a wholly owned subsidiary of SFX Entertainment, the largest global producer of live events and digital entertainment content focused primarily on electronic music culture (''EMC''). SFX's mission is to enable EMC by providing fans with the best possible live experiences, music discovery and digital connectivity with our content and the broader EMC community.
Job Requirements:
-15 hours/ week minimum at our Philadelphia offices in Old City
-Ability to receive college credit
The Digital Marketing intern is part of a team that covers diverse marketing initiatives like social media, direct-to-fan and email campaigns for various client accounts, which can include artists, record labels and festival brands. The Digital Marketing Associate reports to an Account Manager, who delegates tasks based on customized marketing plans that employ multiple channels to creatively push content releases, merchandise, events and tour dates.
Duties:
- Draft, proofread and schedule posts for client accounts across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+
- Help develop marketing and content plans for clients (then get to see them play out across the web)
- Attend brainstorm sessions with some of the music marketing industry's brightest minds for some of the music industry's greatest legends
- Data analysis and reporting
Knowledge & Skills Obtained:
- Content development process: after this internship, you will know the entire journey of what it takes to craft and execute content for a client. From copywriting, to creative development to client approvals, you'll gain insight into the content journey.
- The unique relationship between data and content strategy: Data is the future of online marketing. At Fame House, we teach interns how to read data and then use those numbers to power content strategy and improve client performance.
- Social media management: You will learn how content is scheduled and monitored.
- E-commerce: A big part of Fame House is the extensive merchandising department. With this internship, you will develop skills that will help you not only create merchandising opportunities, but also develop marketing initiatives surrounding merchandise.
