Intern - Arts Management

This is a Part Time Paid Internship

The Arts Management Intern works with the Executive Director on marketing and events management for the Fairfax Choral Society. S/he coordinates promotional and marketing efforts for the season and FCS as a whole. In addition, s/he researches new marketing opportunities and maintains a database of all contacts. S/he assists in the various production details of the concerts as well as coordinates the annual silent auction. The intern also has the chance to work on other projects that interest them such as choir management, technology, or development. The intern has the opportunity to prepare a focused project and sees it through to completion for use in his/her portfolio. The internship is for one semester, 10-15 hours per week.
