The Master Control Coordinator is responsible for managing operations in Master Control while also working as a Master Control Operator. Responsible for switching live programming in Master Control, segment and prep shows, and ingest commercial content as well as feeds from satellite, fiber, and in house production. Create and manage record schedules and confirm all program and commercial content is properly prepped and ready for air. Ensure the quality of our on-air product while developing methods on improving workflow and minimizing any possible errors. Candidate will also assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and will work closely with engineering staff to keep the facilities operating smoothly. Maintain iTX database and perform regular preventative maintenance on the system. Work closely with other departments in the station to facilitate their needs and interactions with Master Control. Applicants must be flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends and holidays. Candidate must be a self-starter, detail oriented, good organizational skills, effective communicator and able to perform well under pressure. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; a college degree preferred. Five years of experience in a top 20 market television station a plus.
