FOX Sports Graphics is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a position available in the Sports Graphics Help Desk. The Help Desk role is to provide technical support for national and regional sporting events, and distribute graphic elements to both FS1 and FOX Sports broadcasts. We are looking for great customer service skills along with knowledge of graphic and database software. This position is a daily hire IATSE represented union position at our Los Angeles studio location.
Responsibilities
• Support and troubleshoot technical issues with graphics output machines (Duet/Viz) and associated software (Lyric/Trio/Content Pilot/iNews/Object Store) used for studio and remote broadcasts
• Set up, test and package equipment
• Walk graphics operator through set up and how to use FOX specific applications
• Deliver graphic assets to studios and remotes
Work with producers and broadcast associates to fulfill graphics orders
• Process and update status of sponsor requests
Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of computer networks
• Knowledge of database and application programming a plus
• Strong familiarity with Windows/PCs
• Familiarity with Photoshop and After Effects
• Must be a strong communicator
• Must have strong customer service phone skills
• Must have flexible hours and available on weekends
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment but also be pro-active during down times
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 50lbs.
