Full Time Job
The Senior Associate Producer's primary role is to develop and produce cross-platform content for Fox Sports and FS1 brands, talent and sports verticals with a good deal of decision-making power and autonomy. The ideal candidate is well-versed in social and digital content production, spanning written copy, Photoshop-style design, Premiere/Final Cut-style video editing skills, and shooting/directing digital live streams. The goal of all content should be to drive engagement and draw in a diverse audience on all screens and platforms with the hope of growing Fox Sports brands and talent.
Responsibilities
• Oversee production for a variety of X-Platform shows, brands, talent and special projects. This can include, but is not limited to, graphic production, editing, story development, show production, talent prep and occasional video shooting/directing.
• Utilize data to initiate programming priorities, rundowns, etc., and also to follow-up, report successes, compare against industry and to drive improvement
• Coordinate content – whether show, brand, talent, original video, etc. – across each screen – whether TV, web, app, livestream, social, etc.
Qualifications:
• Must have at least three years of Cable/TV production and/or Digital editorial experience. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of action as well as a substantial understanding of the tricks and respective terminology.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with athletes, team managers, event staff, outside producers and all other persons involved with productions. Should have a command of production terminology and procedures.
• Must be knowledgeable on Mac and Adobe Production Suite (Photoshop, Premiere). Must have a basic understanding and experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Explorer. Should also be able to operate production related equipment.
