Full Time Job
The Production Manager coordinates all production activities and personnel for the network's UFC studio & remote production programming. This position collaborates in and oversees the production of program materials, works closely with producers, handles the needs of talent, freelancers & external clientele, creates production schedules and manages travel requirements.
Responsibilities
• Manage all logistics and organizational needs connected to UFC studio & remote shows working closely with producers, talent, external clientele and vendors
• Create production schedules, coordinate all travel and handle all talent needs.
• Oversee freelance production coordinators, PAs, runners and interns
• Manage their schedules and handle payroll for freelance hires and talent
• Liaison between production staff and vendors; assist in the selection of best vendors for show expenses and process vendor invoices
• Work closely with Stage Productions, Field Operations, Finance, Engineering, IT & Legal departments
Qualifications:
• College Degree or equivalent Military experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production for live studio/remote events or equivalent Military experience
• Good knowledge of Studio & Remote Production processes, workflows, technical requirements, financials and logistics
• The ability to multitask, be detail oriented and highly organized is critical
• Must have a flexible approach, be diplomatic and able to work well within a group and across functions
• Technically proficient in MS Word, Excel and other applications and platforms
• Familiarity with UFC brand, talent and the broader sports landscape is critical
• This position requires long hours, weekends and frequent travel
