Media company providing training for administrative, research, and PR interns (Los Angeles, CA.) Gain real-world working experience while assisting established entertainment industry professionals in researching and implementing our new lineup of content.
Students possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills with some practical knowledge of the entertainment industry have an opportunity to reach out to the national and international arts communities through our exciting new project. Branding, marketing, artist outreach, and e-commerce will be areas of concentration. Jumpstart your career in entertainment with our experiential internship program. Expectations and duties include the following:
-Research in multiple areas including Art Communities, Nonprofits and Charities, Schools and Universities, PR campaigns and more.
-Implement strategies related to established and up-and-coming digital platforms for artist exposure (Tumblr, Instagram, DeviantArt, Supermarket, etc.)
-Share artist works and profiles on Social Media to increase traffic
-Excellent writing and communication skills in order to reach out to a variety of art-world contacts
-Explore niche art markets and develop goals related to artist branding, traditional and new marketing methods and e-commerce solutions related to arts & entertainment.
Students in all majors welcome to apply but competencies in areas listed above are a must. You should be enrolled in an accredited higher-learning institute and eligible to receive college or post-graduate credit for participating. We offer an amazing, creative and casual work environment with plenty of free parking and drinks & snacks provided. There is also a modest monthly stipend paid to eligible participants.
NOTE: this internship is for training purposes and will not replace regular employment. But if you're serious about understanding the needs of entertainment-related industries this is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills and make connections.
We're flexible about scheduling, but ideally we're looking for someone who can be available 2-3 days per week beginning in September. Our office is open 10 - 6, Monday - Friday in Studio City, CA.
