Business Development/Communication Intern for Production Co
Description & Details
This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to work directly with the founder of a small creative agency startup in the heart of Silicon Beach. Your primary role will be to pursue new business opportunities and develop connections with businesses, brands and other agencies. Additionally, you will conduct market and competitive research.
The ideal candidate is an organized go-getter with great instincts, interpersonal skills and superb communication skills. Agency and/or PR experience is a plus, but if you are innovative, creative, fun, love exploring new industries, enjoy reading AdWeek, Mashasble and Tubefilter just as much as you do the Wall Street Journal, you're on the right track.
As an intern at Ezra Productions you will:
•Experience a semester of practical work at a video production company
•Work in an office environment where you'll gain teamwork and project management skills that are important in any career
•Combine book knowledge and classroom instruction with the practical challenges of day-to-day project implementation
•Be provided the opportunity to meet the internship requirements of your degree program
Preferred Skills
• Knowledge of Inuit Quickbooks
• Proficiency in the Adobe creative suite
• Familiarity with Google analytics
Requirements
•You must be 18 years of age or older, enrolled in college and able to receive school credit for the internship. GPA must be above 3.0.
• Proficient working knowledge of Mac
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Available to work in the office during business hours (9 - 5:30pm)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time and project management skills
• Interest in branded content
• Must be proactive, detailed oriented, and possess good follow-through while adhering to deadlines
• Ability to multi-task and work under fast paced deadlines
• Must have a great sense of humor and get along with others
