Role Description:
Our ideal candidate for Marketing/Brand Manager will be creative, adept at all things digital, have excellent communication skills and work well both independently and with teams, as well as strong analytical skills and ability to use data-driven thinking.
In this position you will oversee a content marketing strategy that creates compelling messages and maximizes reach across distribution channels. You will strategize goals with senior management, sales and operations team and utilize analytics to manage content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement and leads and the distribution of this content across multiple digital channels (marketing database, website, social media campaigns, third-party sites, events).
Summary of Role Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing
-Identify, plan and execute original content and opportunities that are aimed at generating leads, demonstrating our industry expertise and driving engagement within our target markets (incl. newsletters, email marketing campaigns, case studies, etc)
-Strategize marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, promote and drive demand for company products direct and through partners.
-Use web content management systems and website analytics tools to make educated decisions and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns to executive team and assess against goals
-Use data and testing to optimize and improve content and targeting for all communications
-Identify and keep abreast of key target sectors and clients, through social media, news and company information, and work with the stakeholders to produce a plan for each, detailing agreed actions to secure new business
-A methodical and data driven approach and the ability to demonstrate content that has had a direct impact on lead generation and conversion
-Developing SEO strategies to increase the number of visitors to our website by achieving high-ranking placements in search results.
Sales Marketing Management
-Supporting sales team with marketing needs in line with company style guide making sure efforts are aligned with company goals
-Assist sales team with marketing collateral, email campaigns and product positioning; facilitating timely execution
-Maintain and manage email lists, shared databases and files
-Provide direction and feedback to Marketing team members for new business development through collaboration with social partners
-Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, and assess against goals
-Develop and maintain content marketing and deployment calendar to track all program communications.
Social Media + Partner Marketing:
-Developing and maintaining a distinct social media presence by attracting high numbers of internet followers through social media channels and 3rd party partners.
-Develop a social media strategy that aligns with the overall marketing, content and PR objectives
-Utilizing B2C partners and influencers to promote content and drive additional revenue (iTunes, Spotify, YouTube, Tunecore, AdRev, etc.)
PR Management
-Organize/document/communicate/archive PR coverage
-Raise profile of the business by managing entries into industry awards
-Work with PR agency to coordinate opportunities demonstrating our industry expertise and driving engagement within our target markets (incl. panels, trade shows, screenings, etc.)
-Leverage PR in B2B and B2C brand marketing and social media
-Monitor Brand Standards
-Update and expand style guide
-Hold internal team and external partners accountable to brand language and style guides
-Monitor website brand and address issues/ updates
Experience & Qualifications:
-3+ years of relevant work experience in digital and/or integrated marketing roles, with progressive levels of responsibility
-Experience in B2B marketing and social media, working with media or entertainment companies
-Solid, hands-on experience working with common digital marketing tools, and other industry tools such as CRM and analytics packages, i-including email, Social posting and listening, web analytics, and marketing automation platforms.
-Experience in identifying target audiences, and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate prospects to take action
-Strong analytical skills with a methodical and data driven approach and the ability to demonstrate content that has had a direct impact on lead generation and conversion
-Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and measurement
-Ability to manage time and multiple priorities with a variety of internal and external partners
-Strong writer and communicator, with the ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization
-Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other partners to plan, track, and manage detailed work
-Strong project management skills, thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a fast-paced start-up environment where everyone shares the load
-Able to integrate into the wider team, helping others to participate and contribute to early-stage pre-sales activity
-Demonstrable track record of writing and developing content and PR programs to deadline and delivery to budget and quality standards.
-Understand the merits of different online marketing and lead management technologies and how to engineer them together for a successful outcome.
-A strong understanding of web, SEO, social media, video and direct marketing channels
