Bookkeeper / Office Admim
Busy, boutique production company needs self-directed, all around office bookkeeper and office administrator to work directly with business owner at Santa Monica facility. You will oversee A/P, A/R and P/R and deal directly with vendors and clients.
The job commitment is 20 hours per week. We are looking for someone who can work from the Santa Monica office twice a week. Some of the hours can be done from home but most will be on-site. We can stagger your hours to avoid the commuting hours.
Must have strong organization and communication skills.
Must be computer literate.
Knowledge of QuickBooks Online is a must.
Must have 5 years experience or more.
Daily tasks will include (but are not limited to):
-Cut checks to production vendors
-Review and approve bi-monthly staff payroll
-Collect PO's from studio clients
-Convert estimates to invoices in Quickbooks and submit for payment to studios
-Follow up with clients for payment/collections
-Deposit receivables in Quickbooks
-Submit Quarterly payroll reports for workman's comp insurance
-Reconcile petty cash and production receipts (when necessary)
-Forecasts, projections
-Maintain employee vacation schedules
