Event 360 provides event production services for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day® Series, and we are looking for talented team members to join us on our mission to end breast cancer forever. The Susan G. Komen 3-Day® Series is an amazing 60-mile walk that helps mothers, sisters, spouses and friends get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. We are looking for a Sound Engineer/Technical Coordinator to assist with the event production efforts of the Susan G. Komen 3-Day® Series in 7 different markets across the United States.
This is a seasonal touring position, scheduled to begin in mid-August and end in mid-November. Candidates will tour across the United States and must be willing to travel in a touring environment, which requires shared living space and seven weeks of travel. Candidates should be hard working, personable, adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast paced environment. The ability to work as part of a tight-knit team and a proven commitment to excellence are a must.
The ideal candidate for this position is hardworking, results orientated, resourceful, possesses strong management skills, and works enthusiastically in a constantly changing and stressful environment.

Duties included, but not limited to:
-Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of the stage and production elements of each Opening and Closing ceremonies site, including the stage and other elements in the dining tent at the camp site; Assists the stage operations team with this protocol;
-Ensure all sound equipment is set, tested and ready to go for each ceremony and camp show throughout the event series;
-Works close with stage operations team on executing a successful opening and closing ceremony production, as well as, the camp show production;
-Ensures proper placement of all ceremonies and camp show production elements;
-Works closely with stage manager on-event in ensuring that scripts for both ceremonies and camp show are updated as needed;
-Communicate progress and/or issues to the Stage Manager;
-Ensure a positive participant experience and maintain a customer service orientation;
-Build, develop, and grow business relationships with vendors vital to the success of the project;
-Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management;
-Participate in Event 360's growth and development by investing time and expertise in Event 360's overall success;
-Uphold E360's mission, vision and values;
-Other projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
-This position requires the ability to work long hours in a physically demanding environment and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs;
-The Sound Engineer Technical Coordinator must be results-driven and able to work quickly and efficiently on several projects at one time;
-Possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in the sound management environment or has recently graduated from a college, majoring in sound management;
-Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to production operations; Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative, hands-on environment;
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks conforming to shifting priorities, demands and timelines;
-Ability to work successfully with a wide variety of audiences, including management, clients, co-workers, participants and event community entertainers;;
-Excellent managerial skills a plus; (Will assist in managing hired labor for stage set-up and breakdown;
-Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills;
-Adept at researching solutions for production related problems;
-Ability to lift 60 pounds and work in outdoor environments;
-Willingness to travel outside of geographic area for the event as well as availability to work evenings and weekends.
-Candidates must have a valid driver's license and excellent driving record;
-Candidates should have experience working on a team;
-Previous event experience is a big plus;
-Candidates must have forklift experience;
-Candidates must be willing and able to drive rental vehicles including; Compact Cars, SUVs, Pick Up Trucks, Passenger Vans and 12 - 24' Box Trucks.
