EuropaCorp Television is currently looking for student Development Interns for Fall 2017 in our Beverly Hills office.
EuropaCorp is a French film studio founded in 2000 by writer/director/producer Luc Besson. With heavy company growth within the American market, a US office was opened in 2013. EuropaCorp has made over 120 films since opening such as the TAKEN franchise, THE TRANSPORTER franchise, THE FIFTH ELEMENT, THE PROFESSIONAL, LUCY, VALERIAN AND THE CITY OF A THOUSAND PLANETS and countless other US and French titles. The Television department is currently developing the second season of TAKEN on NBC and has several other projects in development. The US team is small and intimate so there is potential to work hands on in other areas, as well as to have access to and face-time with studio executives. Applicants must be able to receive college credit.
Interns will perform script coverage and discuss with supervisor/executives, review screeners, assist in monitoring projects of interest, and assist with general office management tasks. Interns will learn how to break down, analyze, and evaluate scripts and potential projects.
Applicants should have strong reading, writing, and analytical skills, an interest in film development/production/acquisition, and an enthusiasm for film in general. Prior experience with script coverage is preferred but not necessary. Internship is unpaid, and must be done for school credit. Hours are 10 am -6pm (flexible), minimum twice a week.
