Overview and Responsibilities
EPIX is the multi-screen, multi-platform entertainment network from Paramount Pictures, Lionsgate and MGM Studios, delivering new releases, classic library movies, original music, comedy and sporting events anytime and anywhere – on TV, on demand, online and on electronic devices.
The EPIX Internship program is designed to provide a unique and rewarding experience for our interns. Offering college students exposure to all departments and levels within the organization as well as a chance to learn and contribute within a professional, fast-paced and progressive media environment. Providing our interns with the tools needed to achieve this goal is our main objective. All in all, an internship at EPIX is a fantastic opportunity for an individual interested in pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.

The EPIX Corporate office is currently recruiting a summer intern for the Research & Analysis department. Responsibilites include:
• Compile, manipulate and analyze linear and On Demand data for EPIX usage on subscription services offered by digital distributors
• Assist on ad hoc projects involving EPIX viewership across platforms with a focus on EPIX.com, EPIX apps and social media sites
Basic Qualifications
• Ability to manipulate, synthesize and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources and draw conclusions.
• Strong attention to detail to detail and facility for working with numbers.
• Skilled at clear and concise written, verbal and graphical communications.
• Preferred majors: Economics, Finance, Film, Communications, & Statistics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, & Word)
• Keen interest in media and entertainment, particularly movies and TV programming.
• Awareness of online video consumption methods and delivery options.
• Research expertise and entrepreneurial spirit.
Additional Qualifications
Ideal Candidates:
• Students must be classified as an undergraduate upperclassmen (juniors/seniors -- 2018 or 2019 graduates) or graduate student
• Have a keen interest in working in media and entertainment, including movies and TV
• Have strong attention to detail
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Can work independently on multiple projects
• Must have strong computer skills and be proficient in PC and/or Macintosh, Microsoft Office and other programs
• Must be reliable, eager to learn and efficient, with excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
• Must be able to multi-task; takes initiative, be naturally curious, as well as trustworthy
Time Commitment:
• Requires a commitment of 10 weeks - Monday, June 5, 2017 through Thursday, August 10, 2017
• Students must be available to work a minimum of two full days to a maximum of 4 day per week (M - TH)
