The Business Solutions Analyst is responsible for the creation and maintenance of various training and reference tools; design, QA and maintenance of residuals calculation and integration tools; interpretation and application of Guild agreements; ongoing inventory of union contract agreements; understanding applicable business systems and industry requirements and for work on special projects as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Gather and develop instructional and training materials associated with business processes and technical solutions.
· Learn and maintain working knowledge of the union contract provisions, regulations, deadlines, industry standards and requirements governing residuals in general, and for each guild; and to learn and maintain moderate proficiency of research and proper application in accordance with EP residuals standards.
· Assist with software testing when required.
· Support, promote and execute policies developed by the Department Executive and actively contribute and promote unity and cooperation within the department to achieve common goals.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related industry experience
· 2-3 years Residual experience or equivalent industry/job experience
· 2-3 years Accounting or Payroll experience (Entertainment industry highly preferred.
· 2-3 years Contract Administration, union and union employment contracts
· Experience with Microsoft 2010, Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint (highly preferred), Database and document management applications.
· Strong critical thinking, communication and time management skills are essential.
· Flexibility to work extended hours as needed is a must.
