POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Senior Vice President, OnDemand/Digital and/or with direction from the Director, OnDemand/Digital is responsible for account management and achieving goals of the department. The manager will play a key role in building business relationships, developing and executing sales initiatives and exploiting new release and catalogue content.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage sales and solicitation of content to key Digital and On Demand providers
- Customer relationship building and new business development
- Participate in Weekly Sales and Marketing meetings, sales and departmental calls
- Liaison between departments to achieve deadlines
- Identify opportunities and execute marketing/sales promotions
- Prepare forecasting tools for all major/focus accounts
- Submit monthly sales presentations and announcements
- Report all relevant competitive activity including information on pricing, product, merchandising vehicles/techniques, etc.
- Keep current on the industry
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment
- Positive and professional attitude under pressure
- Must be a detail oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to work with limited supervision
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and resourcefulness
- Highly motivated and driven to exceed targets
- University/College degree required with an educational background in Business, Arts, Media or other
- 3+ years experience in Film or Television industry with a strong understanding of the digital and OnDemand distribution business
- A keen understanding of consumer behaviour and trends within film distribution as well as new and emerging opportunities
- Good Project Management skills
- Excellent working knowledge of Windows XP, Power Point, Excel, Photoshop
