About Us
Engine Shop is not your typical agency.
We are looking for great people who are passionate about what they do. People that understand the value or hard work, are willing to get their hands dirty and enjoy the process as much as the result. People that love working on a team. People with a make it happen and get shit done attitude. People, no matter what the level, that are leaders. No two gears are the same but they all fit together to make an unstoppable machine here at Engine Shop. Our people are why Engine Shop was named one of Ad Age's Best Places to work in 2014 and Event Marketers Best Places to Work in Events in 2015.
Engine Shop Culture
At Engine Shop culture is everything. We believe that our culture is created by all of our people, not the executive team or ''the agency''. That makes each hire so important and why we're looking for people that inspire us with their passion and uniqueness. It's also why your first interview will be a culture check. So, when we ask you to tell us about yourself, you better not start with, ''I began my career at…''
Our culture is a part of everything we do - from our casual work environments to our creative benefits and our legendary annual retreat. It's a part of how we treat one another, how we have each other's backs and how we welcome people who are different. But great culture isn't just about having fun and feeling like your team is your family - that's only part of it. This is still a job and a job at Engine Shop comes with the expectation of meeting our standard of excellence. That's our culture too. We're demanding of one another and we expect everyone to do their best all of the time. We expect you to be prepared, on point and ready for anything. We want you to stand up on your first day and bring a big idea to a brainstorm or tell your boss there may be a better way to do something. If you want to work here, get ready to inspire us and we promise we'll inspire you.
