Engel Entertainment is looking for interns to assist our post production department for the Fall 2017 semester. Interns will work 3 days/ week from 10am to 6pm. You must be able to work in NYC.
Responsibilities include:
- Logging footage.
- Pulling b-roll.
- Transcribing.
- Occasional runs.
- Assisting the Post Production team with any other tasks as needed.
An ideal candidate should:
- Possess a strong interest in Post Production.
- Be responsible, flexible, hardworking, and excellent with time-management skills.
- Possess a high level of organizational skills and be detail oriented.
- Have some experience with a variety of editing software, preferably Avid and Photoshop.
- Have an eagerness to learn and take direction well.
- Previous internship or related experience in Post Production is a plus.
Compensation:
This is an unpaid position. There is opportunity for school credit if allowed by the college/university of applicant. Position offers an excellent opportunity to work on substantive projects and can result in a great reference.'
Interns must be at least 16 years of age. Adults interested in career transitions are welcome as well. Internships are through the Engel Entertainment Internship Program, are unpaid, and comply with City and State laws. The Internship is not a job, but an opportunity to view the television business and creative process from the inside. Engel Entertainment is flexible regarding the time period and hours of the Internship. In some cases, Interns who are students may arrange to receive course credit from their school for their Internship with Engel Entertainment.
