Summary:
Endemol Beyond is looking for a forward-thinking social media manager who can help maximize the potential of our content across the landscape of social media. You should be the person who knows about the next big social trend before anyone else and how to merchandise it. We work with premium partners in a fast-paced environment-missing deadlines is not an option. You'll be responsible for developing and driving social amplification and strategy for our content as well as outright, daily, hands-on management of several in-house, corporate and partner social media channels.
An interest in and understanding of advertising, innovative marketing and the digital space is a must. You'll also need extensive experience with all social platforms and the ability to interpret and report on social metrics in a client-facing way (i.e. you can make a deck). Finally, you should have a proven track record of exceptional client service and campaign coordination, especially as it pertains to internal communications and time management.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop social media campaigns and provide daily, ongoing management for channels including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google+, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Vine
• Track, analyze, optimize and report on social media programs to help meet objectives
• Provide input on all social planning and provide the social media POV
• Trend analysis and forecasting
Requirements:
• 2-3 years experience in social media, preferably with a media company or other consumer-facing, entertainment or content company. This is a REAL requirement, please don't bother applying if you can't point to specific media/celebrity social media accounts that's you've managed or had significant influence on.
• Demonstrated success with social media executions on platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google+, Tumblr and additional emerging tools
• Experience with talent management, dealing with big personalities and their respective teams
• Savvy and knowledgeable about current social media trends, innovations and best practices
• Solid understanding of digital content, communication and marketing principles
• Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
• Command of social analytics dashboards and Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to work non-traditional hours and travel, as needed
• Additional knowledge of other digital marketing disciplines is a plus (SEO, paid search, paid media)
• Experience with photo editing software such as Photoshop and basic design capabilities for social media is a plus
Freelance position with opportunity for salaried role. Compensation commensurate with experience.
This opening is full-time, in-house within our Los Angeles office.
