POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Digital Advertising Account Executive, who can excel in a fast paced environment and drive sales to build the Loud Digital Network business through strategic selling, building strong client partnerships and capitalizing on a massive opportunity with a Top 10 premium digital ad network from the ground floor.
This position requires a strong rolodex of digital agency and advertiser contacts, and expertise in all aspects of the sales process --- from intensive prospecting, accurate forecasting, solution selling and strong closing abilities, to superior relationship building with customers through a detailed understanding of the clients business needs.
LOUD Digital Network is looking for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable sale professional with the confidence and passion to generate the revenue for LOUD Digital Network. The successful candidate will be able to evangelize our young adult lifestyle driven, music focused, branded entertainment platform to agencies and advertisers, and nurture agency and brand direct clients to garner increasing revenue volumes every quarter.
The candidate will embrace the merger of traditional media brands with new digital technology using a skill set that goes beyond the traditional digital media sales profile.
REQUIREMENTS:
Activities include coordinating with VP of Digital to oversee proper execution of campaigns and ensure alignment with sales objectives; forecast, track and report sales performance; engage in all stages of the sales cycle, from prospecting to developing customer rapport, to preparing media plan presentations for accounts; meet quarterly revenue targets as set by sales management; prospect for new advertisers and sponsors; develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with key digital advertising and media buying agencies.
You have a proven success in selling digital advertising, video advertising, mobile solutions, rich media, and sponsorship of original content. You have at least 3 years of experience in digital ad sales as a media buyer or sales executive managing accounts and developing digital advertising solutions to client specific needs.
You have a strong rolodex and existing relationships with media buyers/planners at agencies and marketing managers at top brands to foster new relationships; penetrate new accounts and drive new businesses.
You have a deep passion for music, young adult lifestyle pop culture, online marketing/networking and the power it has to change the way business is done.
You have the ability to effectively manage a large number of accounts and projects concurrently.
MORE ABOUT YOU:
• Minimum of 3 years digital media sales experience at a digital advertising network or a top tier web content company
• Combination of agency and client side experience is preferred
• Proven ability to work with established brands and emerging companies to build integrated campaigns such as sponsorships, product placement, branded entertainment and scalable executions
• Superior communication, questioning, listening and presentation skills
• Ability to process information and incorporate feedback in an interactive business conversation
• Disciplined work style with the ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong team player who can wear many hats and always be part of the solution
• Undergraduate degree required; preferably in business-related discipline
