POSITION DETAILS: Elm's unique and competitive Internship Program is ideal for those interested in pursuing careers in film, viral media, and entertainment. Through your daily work and special projects, you will have a direct impact on our mission while being exposed to all the functional areas of the organization. No coffee runs or dry-cleaning - unless it's for yourself.
Your internship at Elm will give you career-enhancement training, valuable insights into your industry and a leg up on your competition in future employment opportunities. You will hear from influential speakers, meet peers with similar interests and gain contacts in the greater LA network. All of this with recognition of and appreciation for the value you bring to Elm. Plus it's LA, so there's the occasional free, all-staff yoga class and fresh-pressed juice.
Get ready! We work in a fast-paced, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants, team environment. If you can keep up, you will finish the internship having gained relevant hands-on content creation experience in the startup, media, and entertainment industries.
WORKING WITH ELM GIVES YOU THE OPPORTUNITY: > Inspire Elm's community by creating engaging shareable content in the form of video and photography. > Contribute to the distribution plan for original content across various social media and third-party platforms and media partnerships. > Assist in developing visual marketing material for each Guide release. > Drive life change through storytelling and content creation. > Strategize with Elm staff to expand the brand voice and visuals.
WHAT WE VALUE: > Outstanding creative approach with unique insight into storytelling. > Skillset in filming, editing, and producing. > Experience in video editing, and fluency in editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro). > You thrive in an entrepreneurial, innovative, team-driven environment. > Ability to prioritize multiple projects. > Strong interest in psychology, personal development, philosophy, or pop culture. > Own or have access to camera for projects.
