JOB TITLE: Digital Product Manager
BUSINESS UNIT: Ellen Digital Ventures
SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Digital Product Manager is responsible for developing product roadmaps, feature definitions, and managing projects related to Ellen Digital Venture's O&O and digital content syndication platforms. This role involves working with cross-functional teams including marketing, ad sales, editorial, IT, operations, and vendors. The right candidate will be able to understand and help develop creative, technology, and the business requirements. The candidate will translate those requirements into an actionable product roadmap that will keep this digital platform at the forefront of our industry from a user experience, product performance, and revenue generation standpoint. This position will be responsible for providing analysis on a variety of key business initiatives, partner with digital marketing to develop growth plans, identify criteria for success, develop epics and user stories for design and development, and ultimately drive the launch of new products and features. This position will also be responsible for product support and issue escalation and resolution.

• Planning and coordination of meetings to bring stakeholders together
• Vendor escalations
• Workflow analysis, definition, and troubleshooting
• Trouble ticket escalation
• Evaluation of feature requests and product enhancements
• Wire framing and prototyping
• Vendor recommendations and decisions
• Technology platform decisions
• Determination of KPIs
• Product roadmap
• Workflow enhancement
• Approval of feature requests and product enhancements
Work Experience
- 3 to 5 years of digital technology experience, preferably in the media and entertainment industry
- Experience translating business and design needs into product roadmaps
- An understanding of web and mobile development technologies and processes including XML, JSON, API, CSS, HTML, CMS
- An understanding of video creation, transcoding, and archiving processes and editorial workflows for multi-platform and social media distribution
- Experience defining and designing editorial workflows (wireframing a plus)
- An understanding of DAI concepts and best practices
- An understanding of metadata taxonomies and best practices for digital publishing and digital asset archiving
- Experience with JIRA, Slack and other communication tools
- Adobe Analytics experience is a plus
- Experience with Agile and waterfall project management methodologies
- Experience determining and analyzing various KPIs
- Experience with developing and executing A/B and multivariate testing strategies
