Electric City Entertainment/Hunting Lane Fimls is an independent production company based in Los Angeles and renowned for such critically acclaimed films as THE ACCOUNTANT, BLUE VALENTINE and THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES and MISSISSIPPI GRIND.
Intern duties include: reading scripts and books, watching films, writing coverage, website and social media updates, filing and organizing, running errands, researching, assisting with event coordination and essentially helping with anything we may be working on.
This is a learning internship, with focus on gaining a first hand look into the inner-workings of a film production company. Interns will work closely with the staff at all levels and emphasis is on being a self-starter. We encourage our interns to be inquisitive, ask questions and take initiative.
There will be light administrative work involved, that could help prepare you for any job you might take in the entertainment industry in the future.
We are looking for interns to begin immediately. Interns will come in 2 to 3 days per week.
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable car (mileage reimbursed)
- Must be available two full days a week
- Hours are 9am - 6pm
