Ekonomisk Mgmt is an artist management firm with offices in Chicago and New York. Ekonomisk Mgmt is in search of an office manager / marketing and social media coordinator to work part-time alongside our Chicago team. Previous music industry experience is appreciated but not required. Ideal candidates will be highly motivated self-starting problem solvers who possess not only a strong passion for music and artists, but also for the greater business of music.
Applicants must be highly organized with a keen attention to detail, capable of multitasking and managing multiple projects at the same time with accuracy and timeliness. This position is one that can grow into full time with the right candidate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to..
- Maintaining artists' social media accounts / implementing social media strategy
- Prepare and circulate weekly artist summaries (social #s, media notes, notable info)
- Marketing: album release, online efforts, mailing lists
- Tour planning / marketing / coordination / advancing
- Office management
- General office duties (telephone, scan, fax, organization)
- Archival / backups of artist catalog and masters
- Website updates as needed for clients
- Maintaining artists' tour and press itineraries, circulating details to artists' team
- Research and book travel
- Update and maintain shared travel documents and artist itineraries
- Archive press and maintain file organization
- Maintain a part time working hours not to exceed 30 hours per week
Dependability, commitment and excellent communication skills are a must. Must be tech / Internet savvy, especially with social media. The successful applicant will possess strong organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking skills and be capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously with high efficiency while maintaining a calm demeanor.
