The Sr. Account Executive is responsible for day-to-day management and development of ongoing business relationships as determined by the SVP, Integrated Marketing. They will lead and manage client relationships on the ground in our Burbank offices. The position is responsible for overall client satisfaction, quality of service, and on-time- on-budget completion of the agency's services. Ideal candidates will have a view on business strategy, and actively participate in reviews of strategy, design, and all other deliverables.
Core Accountabilities
• manage solid client relationships of high-value accounts and provide key strategic thinking; accountable for account growth, client satisfaction, and retention through identifying clients' requirements
• collaborate with SVP, Integrated marketing to develop marketing programs that deliver business results, and develop and execute an engagement strategy in collaboration with discipline leads
• manage account P&L: including negotiation of statements of work and retainers, ensuring work is delivered on budget, and invoicing clients according to the proper terms - increasing ROI for the agency
• lead and make decisions that properly balance the needs of clients and internal teams
• serve as a new business resource working alongside SVP, Integrated Marketing to actively pursue new revenue sources, as well as participate in strategic development of new business such as RFP responses and proposal writing
• plan engagements: including goals, deliverables, schedules and budgets by managing workflow process in collaboration with agency producers
• Identify opportunities for agency's cross-platform deals and integrated offerings
• Ensure the use of ''best practices'' and effective processes across the department and agency
Qualifiers
• 4+ years experience in interactive project or account management
• thorough knowledge of the principles of digital product, advertising, marketing and media
• thorough knowledge of the dynamics of digital and interactive - how each digital and interactive element performs alone, together, and how they are constantly changing
• ability to develop strong relationships with clients by defining solutions that will generate measurable results; building trust and ensuring repeated successful delivery of expectations
• proven negotiation skills; especially contract negotiations, with both clients and partners
• demonstrated experience running engagements with entertainment and/or brand clients
• proven track record of managing multi-million dollar accounts successfully
• excellent public speaking skills and experience
• knowledge of quality assurance process
