Full Time Job
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Productivity Engineering team, this is an opportunity for you to work across every digital product including but not limited to ESPN App, ESPN, Fantasy Football, Watch ESPN and espn.com. It's your chance to shape how high visibility and highly scalable software gets built. Our Productivity Engineering team is focused on developing frameworks and tools that allow software engineering teams to develop, test and release software rapidly with quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Key contributor of an engineering team whose primary goal is to improve and automate testability of the many technology products at ESPN.
• Define, implement and drive the future state vision of automation process, architecture and frameworks.
• Collaborate with product, creative and engineering delivery teams to provide technical expertise and leadership on the developing high quality software, efficiently.
• Define, and track key metrics for process improvement, quality and release.
• Lead, develop and mentor software engineers.

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of 6 years' experience primarily as a software engineer with a passion for testing.
• Experience in design, implementation and delivery of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Proficiency in working in a Unix/Linux based environment, GIT, build automation tools like Maven.
• Hands on experience with Cucumber, Selenium or Appium.
• Experience with Continuous integration/delivery systems.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with machine learning technology, especially speech and language technologies.
• Experience with Objective-C, Swift, Java, Groovy, Scala, JavaScript, Ruby, and/or Python.
• Experience with Jenkins, Team City or other build server technologies.
• Experience with API-related technologies like HTTP, REST, XML and JSON.
• Experience releasing an app to the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
• Experience with security testing to include static code analysis, performance testing, or penetration testing.
• Experience testing i18n applications.
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or its equivalent.
