Part Time Job
The Part Time Promotions Assistant will assist the Promotions Director at KSPN-710 AM Radio in the execution of station events and social media campaigns. Some responsibilities of a Promotions Assistant include: social media execution, shooting and editing video, writing copy and headlines for social media posts, ideation of new social media campaigns and promotional recaps.
Hours will vary from 0 to 29 hours a week.
Responsibilities
• Produce and post content for @espnlosangeles social media accounts
• Shoot and edit video and write copy/headlines for social media posts
• Update social media calendar and spreadsheets per the direction of Marketing Director.
• Participation in the ideation of new social media campaigns and promotions with the goal of driving revenue and ratings.
• Complete social media campaign recaps.
Basic Qualifications
• The ideal candidate must have a general knowledge of the sports landscape.
• Key characteristics include: detailed oriented, professional attitude, self-motivated and flexible approach with a can-do attitude.
• Expertise with video editing software such has Final Cut Pro.
• Expertise with graphic design software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
• Expertise in the social media space specifically with Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, effective with all levels, internally and externally
• Ability to work collaboratively across the organization and across disciplines.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including powerpoint, excel, and word.
• Must be available in a variety of hours: work weekdays, imperative for nights/weekends and occasional early hours, and some holidays.
• Have a good driving record; and be able to lift at least seventy-five (75) pounds.
Required Education
• High School Degree or equivalent.
Preferred Education
• Bachelor's Degree: Marketing, Communication, Business, Sports Management or other related field.
