Full Time Job
The Marketing Coordinator assists the Associate Manager and Director in the development of overall marketing and advertising strategies for ESPN brand properties, including NFL, Tennis, ESPYS, Golf, Motorsports, X Games, and others. He/She provides support in the execution and implementation of various marketing campaigns, inclusive of TV, radio, digital, PR, and social media.
Responsibilities
The Marketing Coordinator is charged with day-to-day marketing maintenance inclusive of the following duties:
• Managing all creative deliverables and timelines to ensure work is finished, delivered, and trafficked on time (and on budget)
• Owning the relationship and production timelines with the internal creative teams
• Ensuring accuracy and excellence of all work done internally and by creative agencies
He/She will assist the Associate Manager with the day-to-day management of the properties. This includes:
• Providing input on creative development and execution of marketing materials
• Working closely with Media on the scheduling of on-channel assets
• Establishing relationships with key personnel in the Marketing department and other business units
Basic Qualifications
• 1 years of related marketing or business experience with an understanding of marketing fundamentals, creative evaluation, and budget management
Preferred Qualifications
• Outstanding team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task on a high profile, high volume portfolio
• Detail-oriented and highly organized self-starter
• Strong analytical skills and active mind
• Knowledge and an interest in the evolving media landscape and media consumption habits
• A healthy appreciation of the role sports play in pop culture
• Passionate fan of sports
• Impressive verbal and written skills
Required Education
• Bachelor's Degree
